The model railroad cradle can be used as a test stand for engines in conjunction
with using it as a work station for your model trains. Therefore it has a
multitude of uses for the model railroader.
"Z" TO "O" SCALE
POWERED CRADLE

The cradle holds several different scale model trains from “Z”
to “0” scale, for repairs, cleaning and/or testing. |
 |
The cradle can be adjusted for widths up to
approximately 3 ¼” wide. |
 |
It has the capability to power an engine by attaching leads
on a terminal strip on the backside of the cradle to your transformer. |
 |
The power transfer rods are adjustable, and can be moved so
you can use the cradle for detailing or painting.
They move up/down and left/right |

The main base of the cradle is made from oak plywood while
the trim around the base is solid oak. The base has a groove on three
sides to hold small parts so you do not lose them while working on your
project. The "T" track is made from recycled aluminum. |

The cradle arms are made of solid oak with dense foam glued
to the face to securely hold your item in place while not damaging it. . |

The cradle measures approximately 19 ½ inches long, 10 ¾
inches wide, and 4 ¼ inches high. |
“G” SCALE
POWERED CRADLE

The “G” scale cradle is made the same way as the regular
size cradle but the cradle arms are made from the same material as the base. |

The "G" cradle has the foam going all the way across the
cradle arms so as to hold a longer engine or car. |
 |
The power rods are different in such that
they are adjustable up/down and left/right and in/out. |
 |
The cradle can be adjusted for widths up to approximately
5" wide. |

The cradle measures
approximately 21¼ inches long, 12¼" wide and 8" high. |
NON-POWERED CRADLE
 |
The non-powered cradle has the capability of being adjusted
through a wide-range of angles and widths. It too has a variety of uses
such as holding items in place while glue is drying, or for painting or
detailing. |

The size of this cradle is the same size as the regular
cradle. |
 |
The versatility of any of
these cradles makes them an excellent tool for any modeler or hobbyist!
